ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes in the Community
Westminster Kingsway College has a number of classes for adults who want to learn English at many different community centres and venues across Camden. Courses are usually for 5 hours per week. You need to be a permanent resident or a registered asylum seeker to undertake a course. If you have just arrived in the UK and you want to start learning straight away you can join our 'Get Learning' courses. Any resident of Camden is eligible. Computer classes are also available at many centres - please ask for details.
Our ESOL courses in the community start in September, January and April. Courses take place at more than 30 friendly community locations and can improve study skills using English. They can help you to move on to what you want to do next with progression to a College course.
If you are looking for an ESOL course with more than 5 hours of study per week then you may need to study at one of our main College centres. Click here to find out more about ESOL courses at WKC centres.
