Working with Children
Working with Children or Young People
The Childcare sectors have always been popular with those who want to be involved in the development of children in their formative years as well as those who aspire to work within the changing environment of today’s schools. Courses for those interested in working with children and young people equip students with the skills and abilities to deliver a first-class service as well as enable them to progress onto supervisory and management levels.

Westminster Kingsway College: Safeguarding Policy
Westminster Kingsway College promotes equality of opportunity and we are keen to encourage a diverse student population with a wide range of talents, backgrounds and experiences. Some College programmes lead to a career working with children or vulnerable adults which will require you to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure and registration with the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA). Applicants for all College programmes must declare criminal convictions on their College application form and for some programmes, a CRB check/registration with ISA is also required. Please contact our Learner Consultants for confidential and impartial advice.
