New English for Work courses starting in September 2009
English for Work is a new intensive course specially designed to help you improve your English to get a job, do your current job better, or get a better job.
It leads to the nationally-recognised Cambridge "ESOL for Work" qualification and focuses on the English skills you need in your working life.
The course will help you to:
- speak to the people you meet in your working life
- perform in interviews and meetings
- deal with customers and customer complaints
- write e-mails, letters and reports
- understand written communications
- increase your work-related vocabulary
- develop strategies to improve your English independently
The lessons are practical and relevant. You will practise English in realistic work-related situations and be able to apply what you learn in your job.
Courses start September 14th 2009 - 5 Hours per week (12 weeks)
