There are three main Key Skills units:
- Communication
- Application of number
- Information and communication technology (ICT)
There are also wider Key Skills:
- Improving own learning and performance
- Working with others
- Problem solving
The qualifications are available at Levels 1,2 and 3.
Why do Key Skills?
- Improve your achievement; improve results on the course you’re studying
- Progression; go on to further courses or work
- Get UCAS points if you’re aiming for university
- Improve employability; help you to get a job.
