Learning Centres

Open on every site from morning into the evening the Learning Centres offer a good selection over 85,000 up-to-date books, e-learning tools, daily newspapers, journals and other resources, as well as computers with internet access. Staff will help you find information, use IT applications or improve your research and study skills. Most Learning Centres also run activities such as book clubs and CV writing workshops as part of their service.

Some Learning Centre offer specialist collections, including the unique Westminster Gastronomy Collection at the Victoria Centre, which documents gastronomic history and cookery from around the world. For further information about the Westminster Gastronomy Collection please download the Westminster Gastronomy Collection leaflet. It also provides a collection of audio visual materials including DVDs, CDs, audio cassettes and the facilities to use them. Many of these materials are designed for speakers of languages other than English and they are grouped by levels.

Whether you want a quiet place to study or somewhere to work with your class on group assignments, Learning Centres will provide you with what you need.
