Tuition fees

The cost of your course will depend on your fee status, which is normally determined by your residency. If you are ordinarily resident in the EU or the EEA you will usually have ‘home’ student status. Residency does not necessarily correlate with nationality: if you are a Bolivian but have been given Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), shown as a stamp in your passport, then the college will regard you as a ‘home’ student. If you require a visa to remain in the EU then the college will regard you as an ‘international’ student and will assign you a different fee status. This page gives some details of EU/non-EU fees. The prices quoted are in GBP, British pounds; they apply currently but may change in the 2008-9 academic year (prices are approximate and exclude exam and resource fees).

  Proposed 09/10 Fees (per year)
Professional Chef Diploma at Level 1/2/3 + ESOL £7000
FE courses £5500 (excluding exam fees)
FdA Business £6950
FdA Travel and Tourism £6950
FdA Hospitality Management £8450
BA (Hons) Hospitality with Business Management £8450
BA (Hons) Tourism with Business Management £8450

Overseas students applying for English Language courses should pay for their tuition when they apply for their course.

The whole tuition fee is payable in advance. We will accept the following methods of payment:

By Credit Card: at present we can only accept payment by this method if the payment is made in person at the college.
By Cheque or Bankers Draft: send your cheque to: International Office, Westminster Kingsway College. (Cheques must be crossed and in pounds sterling).
Electronic Bank Transfer: You must fax a copy of the Bank transfer remittance to the International Officer at the College. Banks usually charge a fee for this service (£14) and you must take this into account when calculating the sum transferred. Money transfers should be paid to the College tuition fee account the details of which are as follows:

Westminster Kingsway College Tuition Fees Account
Lloyds TSB Bank plc,
344 Gray's Inn Road,
Bank Code: 30-94-73
London WC1X 8BX
a/c 00 64 85 14

Summary: In total, a single student would need approximately £9,600 to meet expenses (excluding tuition fees), although this amount could be reduced if accommodation is shared.
