Progression into employment with Childcare courses at Westminster Kingsway College
17 October 2011
Adult Learners from Westminster Kingsway College’s Childcare Level 3 course celebrated their new qualifications with their teachers and assessors at a presentation held at the College’s King’s Cross Centre. The celebration marked the completion of the NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. The classes for this qualification were held in the evenings to suit the busy working and family lives of the students. The success of the course was evident in the number of learners who have progressed from entry level childcare through to the Level 2 and Level 3 course and then into employment.
The certificates were presented by Di Gowland, Vice Principal for Adult and Employment Pathways at Westminster Kingsway College who said “We know how hard it is for learners to fit these courses into their busy lives and so we would like to congratulate everyone on their new qualifications. It is a great testament to the students’ hard work and the support that they have had from their teachers on this course at Westminster Kingsway College and we hope that this will help them to progress further in their careers.”
