Student stories

Evelyn Anyiri
AS Level Psychology, Business Studies, Economics and Maths

Student Evelyn Anyiri made it a family affair as she collected her AS results at Westminster Kingsway College's King's Cross Centre with her whole family; mum, dad and two brothers.

Evelyn said: "I am really pleased with my results. I had predicted what I might get but to get the real thing is so much better. I got As in Psychology, Business and Economics with a C in Maths. I have really come alive while studying at Westminster Kingsway College. You really grow up and become more independent in a College environment."

Proud mum, Angela Anyiri said it was a proud day for the family and they all wanted to share in it. She said "We are really pleased with Westminster Kingsway College. The students work very hard and don't fool around. As parents, my husband and I focus on our children's studies and we supported their choice of Westminster Kingsway College to further their education."

Evelyn's older brother, Emmanuel was also there to support his sister and it brought back memories of his time at College. He said "I came here a couple of years ago and studied the same subjects as my sister so I was able to recommend Westminster Kingsway College. I was really pleased with my time here and I have just completed an IT degree at the University of Westminster."

For WKC student Evelyn, her next steps will be to continue into her second year at the College to study for her A2 subjects and then to progress onto studying Economics or Accounting at a London university in the future.
