Marlene Oliveira, Foundation Degree Business
Originally from Portugal, Marlene came to London to study at Westminster Kingsway College after hearing glowing reviews from her family. She chose the Foundation Degree in Business as she would like to work in Project Management or Finance after she finishes her studies. As a testament to her enjoyment of the course and her own personal dedication to her studies, Marlene only missed her lectures once and that was to give birth to her newborn baby.
Marlene said: "The teachers at Westminster Kingsway College are fantastic and so approachable. I was pregnant while I was studying and only missed class when I went into labour! I was back into lectures in the next week. I won't forget my time here at the College and that's the truth."
