Lara Julio, BA (Hons) Tourism and Business Management
Lara Julio first heard about Westminster Kingsway College when a friend did a chef's course at the Victoria Centre. Lara said: "I know it's a cliché but I have travelled a lot and so I was interested in studying Travel and Tourism. When I visited the College I spoke to the tutors and thought the Foundation Degree sounded perfect."
Lara is originally from Brazil but has also lived in Portugal before coming to London. After completing the Foundation Degree in Travel & Tourism, Lara progressed to the one year top-up degree. She is now working in hospitality in London and has completed her BA (Hons) degree in Tourism and Business Management at Westminster Kingsway College.
"I love the melting pot of London. On my course, I have been developing my skills for presentations and my knowledge of tourism. My dream job when I complete my degree would be working for the Brazilian tourist board in London."
