Regis
Peyraque
Regis Peyraque had
completed his BA Honours in Product Design when he realised that he wanted to
teach French to primary students in England. He knew that to do this he would
have to apply for a PGCE course but needed to pass GCSE English to be accepted
on the course.
Having already enrolled on an interior design course at Westminster
Kingsway College Regis knew that it would be a good place to study for his GCSE
too.
Regis said: “I found the GCSE English very interesting
as I had a great teacher who even made poetry and Shakespeare understandable.”
Now
with his ‘A’ grade Regis has been accepted on the PGCE at Goldsmiths
University and plans to teach in Camden when he completes his course.
He said: “I
know there are good job possibilities with teaching so I am really pleased that
I can study for it with the qualifications I have now.”
