Christopher Yong decided
to enrol on the BTEC National Diploma in Dance when
he realised that he was not enjoying his AS Levels.
Christopher said: "I
had always fooled around dancing but when I started
my AS Levels I realised that it was actually something
I loved and that I could maybe do it as a career. By
starting this course I hope to take my dancing up a
gear and really make it in the industry."
Christopher is in the
first year of his BTEC National Diploma in Dance where
he is learning all aspects of dance, building on his
past training and experience. Training in classical,
contemporary and popular dance techniques Christopher
is learning to understand a healthy approach to bodywork
learning to choreograph, analyse and appreciate dance.
He said: "I'm really
pleased I decided to enrol at Westminster Kingsway College.
The facilities are great and it's in an ideal central
location. I was in an R&B music video in July and I
am hoping that with the help of my tutors I will be
able to move on to study Dance at University."
