Nur
Rommell Nur had been working as a model in London for
three years and had taken part in amateur dramatics,
but wanted to take things further, “I’ve
acted from an early age and decided to get a qualification
in it and learn more”, he said. Friends recommended
Westminster Kingsway College as they had heard positive
things about the Regent’s Park Centre.
Rommell starred in the college production of The Crucible
as the character of Rev Parris and gave an animated
and powerful performance, captivating the audience.
When asked how he remembers his lines, Rommell replied,
“I’ve been working on them for about six
weeks, and this is the final performance of the year,
so I just have to remember them”. Rommell hopes
to continue working on his acting, so watch out for
his name in lights!
