The below dates represent core teaching term dates only. Some programmes may follow different patterns of attendance. Please check with your tutor for your class dates.
College Term Dates 2016/17 for students
Term dates: Full-time and Part-time courses (AS & A2 courses, FE & HE)
- Autumn term: Thursday 8 September 2016 to Thursday 15 December 2016. Please check your induction dates and start dates for some full-time courses from September 2016 as it may be earlier.
- Spring term: Thursday 5 January 2017 to Friday 31 March 2017.
- Summer term: Wednesday 19 April 2017 to Thursday 6 July 2017.
Term dates: ESOL course dates
ESOL Term courses:
- Autumn term: Wednesday 14 September 2016 to Wednesday 14 December 2016.
- Spring term: Wednesday 4 January 2017 to Friday 31 March 2017.
- Summer term: Tuesday 18 April 2017 to Wednesday 12 July 2017.
ESOL Semester courses:
- Semester 1: Tuesday 13 September 2016 to Friday 10 February 2017.
- Semester 2: Monday 20 February 2017 to Wednesday 12 July 2017.
Holiday Dates for college students*:
- Autumn Half Term: 24 October 2016 to 28 October 2016 (teaching re-starts from 2/3 November 2016 due to staff P&D days – check with your tutor).
- Winter Break: 19 December 2016 to 4 January 2016 (teaching re-starts from 5/6 January 2017 due to staff P&D days – check with your tutor).
- Spring Half Term: 13 February 2017 to 17 February 2017 (teaching re-starts on 20 February 2017).
- Spring Break: 3 April 2017 to 17 April 2017 (teaching re-starts from 18/19 April 2017 due to staff P&D days – check with your tutor).
- Bank Holidays during term time: 1 May and 29 May 2017.
*Please note that some International students will follow a different course timetable and holiday dates may be different to the dates advertised above.
