As a Warehouse Operative you will work in a variety of warehouse environments.
Your work activities will include taking deliveries, checking for damaged/missing items, storing goods, moving stock by various methods, picking/packing orders, loading goods for dispatch, maintaining stock records and documentation and cleaning.
This apprenciteship will provide recognition of the skills and knowledge you will need to have in order to work in, or develop a career in, warehousing. These qualifications are for you if you are currently working in the sector and also available to those who do not currently work in the industry but would like to gain some of the skills needed.
On this apprenticeship, you will learn and undertake;
You will need to be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week in a relevant job, but we can assist you in finding a placement.
Ideally, you will have GCSEs at grade 4 or above (C or above) or equivalent in English and maths; however, if you do not currently hold these, we will require you to be working at Level 1 before starting the apprenticeship and will embed Level 2 Functional Skills into your apprenticeship programme. Some employers may require additional qualifications, depending on the specific role.
