All businesses need enterprising employees to drive their organisations forward, to have ideas and initiatives to instigate growth, and to ensure that businesses survive in this fast-changing world. People with enterprising skills can be a real asset to an organisation and these skills provide the basis for developing the entrepreneurial skills needed to run an enterprise. Enterprise is a key government focus, and is set to form an important part of the UK’s global economic status, both now and in the future. This course equips you with those skills, allowing you to get the skills, knowledge and behaviours expected by employers in this sector.

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
The course is assessed throughout the year and with an end-of-course portfolio.
If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. This course will help you to move on to higher level courses, such as Business at Level 3 or an apprenticeship.
