This is a full one day course delivered by our award winning lecturer Jose Souto.
Over the course of the day, you will learn about all of the furred and feathered game indigenous to the UK. There will be a presentation on the quality points and seasons of the game and how it can be utilised effectively within the Hospitality Industry.
The course includes a meal within our award-winning restaurant showcasing the products you will be learning about.
In the afternoon session, there will be a full demonstration about the species of deer found in the UK including a full breakdown of a carcass.
This course is designed for industry professionals for personal development. Whilst it is not an accredited course, it is delivered by one of the UK’s most respected game experts.
All classes are delivered at the School of Hospitality at our Victoria campus. Students are attending college on a full time basis with lessons from Monday-Friday (5 day per week course).
This course is designed for experienced chefs and hospitality individuals who wish to widen their skills and knowledge.
There are no assessments on the course. It is a full demonstration-based course.
Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. Attendees will most likely already be working within the hospitality industry and this will further their skills and knowledge.
