Plumbing - Level 2 Diploma

Topics covered can include:

• Safety in plumbing
• Key plumbing principles
• Common plumbing principles
• Hot and cold water
• Central heating systems (pipework only)
• Non-complex electrical systems
• Sanitation systems
• Sheet lead weathering
• Environmental awareness
• Working with others

You will need:

• Plumbing - Level 1 Diploma 
• GCSEs at grade 3 or above in English Language and Maths, or equivalent Functional Skills

All applicants must have an interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

The course is assessed throughout the year and with an end-of-course portfolio.

School Leavers

If you will be aged 16, 17 or 18 on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, it will be free. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. Adults

Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course may be free, depending on your circumstances. This course will help you to move on to higher level courses or an apprenticeship.
