Short Description
About the Course

The Social Digital Apprenticeship links the natural skills of the 'born digital' generation with those of businesses who want to improve your online presence to grow and expand.

Businesses that actively use social and digital media within their sales mix are proven to grow faster than those that don't.

What you will study

A Social Digital Apprentice will work with their employer to understand the brand and develop their digital marketing strategy. You will learn employability skills and further develop your digital media skills for use in a business context.

This is a high quality option for a school-leaver to go to work, learn new skills and gain a recognised qualification and to earn a wage. The value of an Apprenticeship is that it has been put together to develop you both in your chosen field and as an individual.

If you are interested in this Apprenticeship programme please contact courseinfo@westking.ac.uk or call 0870 060 9800 to speak to the Employer Training & Apprenticeships team.

Access Method

The Apprenticeship is based in the workplace, with learners attending college for 12 days per year. The coursework, in the form of business tasks, is completed via e-learning and e-portfolio, and an assigned assessor will maintain regular contact through site visits.

It gives you access to our exclusive Digital Youth Academy (DYA) social media community networking site so you can connect and share with other DYA Apprentices across the country.

Progression

With the skills and experience gained on your Apprenticeship, you could progress at work.

Apprenticeships can also lead to further study and increased employment prospects.

All fees will be confirmed when you enrol onto your course. All students are fee assessed at enrolment
