About the Course
On this course, you will learn how to make well-fitting clothes for yourself, family or friends.
This course is suitable for beginners, as well as those with some previous experience in sewing.
What you will study
You will explore different fabrics, discover which designs suit you best and learn how to set-up and to use a sewing machine.
You will find out how to use a commercial paper pattern and how to create paper patterns from your favourite items of clothing.
We have other community classes included Knitting and Crafts, Beaded Jewellery & Textiles, and Sewing & Fashion.
All of our community classes have no specific entry requirements except a willingness to learn and lots of enthusiasm.
If there are any specific requirements then these will be outlined at the first class.
