Civil Rights in the USA from 1865 to 1992: examining African Americans, Native Americans, Trade Unions and women, examining how progress was made during this time period. There is a special focus on Black Power and on civil rights during the 'gilded age'.

You will also undertake an independent investigation, which is an extended essay on any topic of your own choice.
