What you will study
You will explore a broad range of product categories in the field of wines and spirits together with the theory of tasting technique.
On successful completion, candidates will be able to interpret the labels of the major wines and spirits of the world and give basic guidance on appropriate selection and service, as well as understand the principles of wine tasting and evaluation.
The course is made up of 16 hours of guided learning plus a 1 hour closed book examination.

Successful completion of this course could enable you to progress to the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wines and Spirits or an alternative higher Level Westminster Kingsway College course.
