COUNSELLING

Our Counselling courses provide students with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience necessary to work as professional counsellors.

Counselling courses cover a broad range of topics, including counselling theories and techniques, human development, multiculturalism, ethics and professional standards, and research methods. Students may also learn about issues such as addiction, trauma, mental health, and relationship counselling. The curriculum is typically designed to help students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to work as effective and ethical counsellors.

Counselling courses are ideal for individuals who are interested in helping others and who have strong communication and interpersonal skills. They may be pursued by individuals who are interested in working as professional counsellors, as well as by individuals who are seeking to develop counselling skills for use in other professions, such as teaching, nursing, or social work.

Graduates may be eligible for professional certification or licensure and can pursue careers in a range of settings, including private practice, schools, hospitals, and community organisations.
