Whilst no prior qualifications are required, you will be encouraged to use this placement as a career development opportunity that helps expand upon your range of creative and administrative skills. You should be interested in developing your versatility as a production assistant and be interested helping with the breadth of activities necessary to prepare for Caribbean carnival performances. The duties assigned will be tailored to suit your key strengths, but you should be happy to assist in rehearsals and preparations for live performances, exploring and developing ideas and help plan, deliver, and assist with the different stages of the production process.
This role will demonstrate your commitment, versatility, willingness to learn, team working skills and the ability to work independently and use your initiative.

If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK - your visa, your biometric card that covers the duration of your course or any relevant home office documents to support your residency should all be uploaded. If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen we will need to see evidence of 'Pre-Settled' or 'Settled-status' documents. Also for funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC), Housing benefits etc. please bring evidence of this).
Upon successful completion of the course you will achieve a nationally-recognised qualification, which can help you progress into further study in this area.
