How to apply (international students)

We will help you with the application process at Westminster Kingsway College and ensure that you apply for the best course to suit your skills and abilities.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements vary depending on the level of your course. If you have existing qualifications from a country outside the UK and you are not sure which level is right for you please contact the international office for more details. We can check your certificates and recommend the most appropriate level and qualification for you.

Applying for Higher Education courses (Foundation Degrees, Degrees)

If you want to apply for a Foundation Degree or Degree at Westminster Kingsway College then all non-EU applicants who want to apply for one course may apply to the College direct using our Application Form.

Overseas (non-EU) candidates applying for full-time Higher Education courses at more than one institution must do so through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service).

Applying for Further Education courses (including vocational courses)

For courses at all levels, the College may accept you unconditionally. This will mean that you have demonstrated on your application form that you are capable of benefiting from the course and completing it successfully. The College may also respond to your application by making you a conditional offer. This could mean that you must first complete your current course and/or that you have to obtain certification of your English Language competence. We only accept IELTS (Academic) for UKVI test report as proof of English competence.

To apply for a Further Education course at the college, please download our Application Form, which you will need to complete and return to us.

Please include the following with your application form:

  • A copy of your passport (and visa if you are in the UK already)
  • IELTS (Academic) for UKVI Test Report (if you have already gained)
  • Photocopies of other relevant qualifications
  • Work experience/employment references or statements, where relevant to your course
  • A personal statement describing your relevant studies and experience for the course you are applying for
