WKC celebrates a new generation of young chefs at graduation

Friday 6 April 2018

WKC was delighted to celebrate its Young Chefs’ Academy at their graduation last week

Our Young Chefs’ Academy course is specially curated for 13-15 year olds and is a great pathway to get accepted onto our sought after Professional Chef Diploma course.

We’re very proud of our graduating young chefs, and our Culinary Progamme Manager, Paul Jervis, was on hand to dish out the accolades.

Grace Brennan, one of our proud graduates, said: “These courses have massively helped me in building my skills in cooking and I absolutely can’t wait to continue the other courses to help me in the future. Thank you!”

Leslie, Grace’s mother said: “My daughter has now attended the Young Bakers and the Young Chef courses.  The food that was produced at the graduation ceremonies was amazing and you would never have believed such young people could create so many amazing and different delights, they really should all be applauded. The staff and environment are so supporting and informative and they have all come away with their skills improved and passions ignited.  I know that this has really given my daughter a great insight as to what to expect when she eventually applies for the three year Chef Diploma when she finishes school and she can’t wait to get started.”

Well done to all our graduates, we look forward to hopefully seeing you on our professional chef diploma very soon!
