Jordan Clarke first heard about Apprenticeships when he was researching different training options online and found that an Apprenticeship would suit his personality. Jordan was very happy when he discovered that he could train in Facilities Management through an Apprenticeship programme with a work placement at Redbridge Council and training through Westminster Kingsway College. “Apprenticeships are a great way to learn and what most people don’t realise is that it opens up so many doors for you and your career.”

Working in the built environment and in facilities management, you will provide essential support in the development and maintenance of places of work and leisure. Those working in this sector are responsible for the systems and people that make a building operate effectively, efficiently and safely. Types of buildings that you will be working in vary greatly and could include offices, shopping centres, hospitals, schools, colleges, universities and sports stadiums. Courses will develop your skills and give you a greater understanding of sustainability in the built environment.
