Travel and Tourism
The Travel and and Tourism course at Westminster Kingsway has been brilliant and has shown me all the different career options available in the travel and tourism industries
Travel & Tourism
The Travel & Tourism sector has changed dramatically over the last few years, due to the demand for air travel and the increasing numbers of people visiting the UK.
London is at the epicentre of this expansion, and we recognise the potential job opportunities available now and in the future. Our NCFE Travel and Tourism courses have paved the way for many of our previous students to gain employment in this sector. For example, many of our students now work for Jet2 at London Stanstead, British airways, Gatwick and Heathrow airports and many more.
Not only do we assist students throughout their qualifications, but prepare them for the world of work and embed people and employability skills.
WKC had recently became a member of ABTA ( Association of British Travel agents), which enhances our expertise as links and major conferences keep our knowledge current and recognise what skills and qualities are required to work in this industry. Progression after achieving a level 3 qualification includes; Travel agent, Tour operators, Holiday reps or University, with the right entry requirements.

BTEC Level 3 Travel & Tourism
I moved from A-Levels to Travel & Tourism. I am so glad that I changed as it has been a great course and I have really enjoyed the events management module. I would like to work in hotel management or adventure tourism eventually and this course is giving me the skills I need to achieve that. The College is really interesting and diverse. You always meet new people and the teachers are approachable and very helpful.
